We all have had our share of life’s afflictions. If life’s constant pain and suffering. Many times we don’t know what to do or who to turn to. The word of God tells us that in this world we will have these afflictions. In this world we will have tribulations. (John 16:33 TPT; And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”)

There are times when we face heartache, the passing of a loved one, the loss of a job, and health issues. And we get to a point in our depression or grief where we are blaming God for what we are going through. This should never ever be the case. 1 Peter 5:8 says: Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan is always lurking around, trying to stir up trouble. He is always hiding in the bushes, waiting to strike.

Sometimes these afflictions can cause us to make changes for the good. That’s all God wants for us is good, and it is also for His glory. During these times in our lives, God will help us to make sense of what we are going through. That’s why it’s so important to read the word of God during the difficult times in our lives.

The things we go through in life are meant to strengthen us and help us to grow in the Lord. He will increase us in the wisdom of God and His word so we can handle whatever we are going through with and for Him.
Sometimes it is for us to just quietly sit and listen for God’s voice, for His instructions. You will know when He is speaking. Pray for God to give you ears to hear what He is speaking to your heart.

So never feel you are alone in this world. God will always love you, and He is always with you. He will even bring the right people into your life who will know how to love and support you in the good and bad times.
