When we think of church we see a building with a cross. We see church pews and a pulpit. We see everything that goes with the term “church”. But did you know that we are the true church? God is not leaving it up to the benches and the pulpit to go and spread the gospel of His great news. He wants us to go out and win lost souls. He wants us to invite people to Christ. God wants us to share our stories, our testimonies, and the amazing things in our lives that God has personally done for us. By sharing, He can also do for those who do not know Him.

If We Are the Church It Requires Us to Renew Our Mind

If we are the church in this world, it will often require us to renew our minds daily in the Lord. Satan will come after the children of God and we must always be prepared. The word of God has everything we need to defeat the enemy.

God knows what we are up against in the world. So, as we represent Him, God promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. And He is a God of His word.

Living in The Peace of God

To be the church requires us to walk in the peace of God which also requires us to walk in love. To have peace with others requires you to first have peace with God. He will teach us how so that we can know how to be in peace in love out in a hurting and lost world.

Problems will come during our journey in the Lord. But we have the full power of God dwelling in the inside of us. It is time for us to spiritually grow up and use our faith to trust and believe in God in whatever we may face in this world. God will never give us more than we can bare because whatever we may have to bare in this world He will bare it with us.

We will never run out of the power that God has given us because the spirit of God that is within us is being renewed every day. And it will continue to be renewed if we spend time in the word daily. Be determined to have more of God in your life and less of yourself.

So, as we strive to be God’s temple, God’s “church,” we should also humble ourselves and submit ourselves to God. Continually resist the devil and he will flee. Whenever we choose to humble ourselves before the Lord God, we put ourselves in a position to receive more from God than what we even asked for. Because God knows what we need before we even ask. Always put your trust in God and use the word to come against Satan whenever He tries to get in your way of doing the will of God. God has everything you need to defeat the enemy. Just stay in the word of God and continue to represent Him.

I never thought I had another side of me. It is a part of me only God knows about. The part of me only God has control of. I never knew about it until I gave my life to Christ. No one likes this side of me because it’s not the worldly me, but the spiritual me. My eyes have been open to many new things. For too long I’ve been living with this other me that people had no problem accepting.

This other me have many things the old me never had. Like Jesus, joy, peace, love, hope, faith, grace, and many more. I never knew about any of this until Jesus found me and invited me to a better place. And now that I’m here I never want to go back to that old side of me. This other side of me can stand no matter what the world does to keep me down. This special love I feel I know can only come from God. Sometimes it seems too good to be true, but I know it is because He lives in me.

The old me felt like she had no one. But this other me know that I have Jesus on my side when the world seems to come against me. The old me wanted to do things her way and never seemed to ever get it right or thought she had it right since it was her way. But this other me have God to guide me, so I know I’m going down the right path. The old me couldn’t see anything because she lived in darkness and couldn’t see the answers to her problems. But this other me has a shining star in the darkest night. Jesus takes my hand and keeps me steady. In the face of a storm I’m always ready. This other me is strong and bold and has a love for Jesus that will never die.

With Jesus in my life I’m higher than high. And He will someday take me above where I can live in heavenly love. I can accept this other me even if no one else can. I’m more than what I thought I was. Jesus understands me better than I do or anyone else understands me. Someone who loves me.

Many times, Satan has tried to get me but through it all I’m still standing. God has given me the power to overcome anything. And whatever Satan takes from me God said He’d bless me with it a hundred times more.

So many things seemed impossible to me and God always had a way. He’s always willing to take care of me and take care of my problems. And it doesn’t cost me anything. He paid the price for my sins when He died on the cross. With Jesus there’s always a way. And if anything is too difficult for me all I must do is give it to Jesus and I know it’s already taken care of. It would be great to share Jesus because then more people will be saved and can go to heaven and live with Jesus. They will no longer have to live their life trying to get people in the world to accept them. It’s nothing like this place. It is so much better. And when you are in Christ no one can do you any harm, not even Satan.

Since I’ve lived in this other me, I never feel I must please anyone, just tell him or her about Christ. And live according to His word. I never feel I am less that who God has made me to be. And with Jesus in my everyday life, I feel so free. God never said it would be easy, but if you have the mind of Christ it will be was easy as it was for you when you were living in your old self. And whatever your heart wants, just trust in Jesus and He will bless you with that and many more.

I enjoy talking to God because I know He is always there listening and understanding me. He never criticizes me or lets me down. I love no one more than I love Jesus, because no one can treat me better than Jesus can. I can cry on His shoulder, I can tell Him my secrets, I can laugh with Him, I can get Him to understand me and no matter what I do God never thinks less of me. As long as I have Jesus in my life I know I have everything. And as long as I’m on this earth Jesus is the only one I will ever count on.

When I gave my life to Christ it was the best thing I have ever done in my life. And it is something I will never ever regret doing. And I will let Him know how much I love Him because He loved me so much that He died on the cross for me.

Life with Jesus is so wonderful. When I changed my life from doing things my way to doing it God’s way, I realized that it was the best thing I have ever done in my life. I feel free from so many things that I allowed myself to be weighed down by. Sin had me thinking that I had no way out, but God took my hand and led me in another direction. Life in the flesh and life in the spirit are very different. Here’s a few of the changes I have been blessed to go through in my life.

I went from Satan to Jesus, bondage to freedom, darkness to light, confusion to understanding, friends to enemies, terrible life to a wonderful life, not knowing Jesus to knowing Jesus. I could go on and on because when you become a part of Jesus you will receive endless blessings.

I learned that when you give your life to Christ people will treat you different. They will treat you like dirt. But guess what? Jesus was treated the same way. But who, in the end, went to a better place? Jesus will give you what you need to get through this sinful world and go to heaven where His Heavenly Father is.

Life with Jesus is so great you will want to invite those who do not know Him. You will start to realize you have the power God has given you to face ANYTHING. You can even save those that are lost. God gives everyone a choice. Him or Satan. Heaven or Hell. And if you don’t know then either go to someone who knows, go to church, or read the word. But God will always make a way and He always has a way. He will know if you truly want to give your life to Christ.

And don’t think you can fool Christ because we are the ones who are learning and just beginning. And you can’t keep anything from Him. Giving my life to Christ is the best decision I have ever made. He didn’t say it would be easy, but it will be easier than doing it all by yourself. Anything you can’t handle you can just give it to Jesus and He will take care of it for you. He will even show you how to handle the situation yourself.

This just gives you the opportunity to grow in Him and to know how to handle situations differently now that you are in Christ. Just believe and accept Him into your life. There’s nothing hard about it unless you make it hard. He can also be your mother, father, sister, and brother. Uncle, friend, anything you don’t have on earth. And Satan can’t even touch you because God protects you.

So life with Jesus is life everlasting. And no matter what you go through you will always have a reason to be joyful and thankful. And you will never get tired of thanking Jesus, because blessings will continue to come and it will constantly let you know just how much God loves you. And let Jesus know you love Him because He loved you so much that He died for you.

Healthy Lifestyle for a Better You https://fightbyfaith.com/better-you/ https://fightbyfaith.com/better-you/#respond Fri, 31 Mar 2023 18:10:40 +0000 https://fightbyfaith.com/?p=509 The most important thing to keep in mind when you decide to start living a healthy lifestyle is portion control. There are endless information out there telling us what’s healthy and what is unhealthy. They tell us what foods are good to eat and which ones are not. But the most important thing to keep in mind when you decide to start living a healthy lifestyle is portion control. Its not what you eat, it’s how much of it you eat.

When you think of healthy eating, don’t think “diet”. Remember when you are fixing yourself something to eat, include protein (meat, beans, fish, cheese, nuts, eggs, and yogurt). Also include carbohydrates (Fruits, or fruit juice, beans, bread, cereal, rice, vegetables, and very little sweets like candy, cookies, and desserts.)

Another one to include is fat. This include things like butter, ice cream, coconut oil, and lard.

Another one to include is water. Water is the best thing you can consume because there is nothing in it. Just clear, odorless, tasteless water.

And last but not least, you must include vitamins and minerals. This includes watermelon, broccoli, soy milk, squash, cereals, chicken, mushrooms, and potatoes.

So, in other words, eat what you want, but in reasonable portions. Too much of anything is not good. But living a healthy lifestyle has more to do with it than just eating healthy. Exercising is another excellent way to take care of your health. And the number one exercise that is simple but has its benefits is walking. This exercise is really good for beginners who have to start off slow and work their way into other exercises like jogging.

Living your best life is just living in healthy ways that will benefit you and your body in the long run. Challenge yourself everyday to do something healthy for yourself. Just learn to love all of you, even your health.

There are other things in your life that can also affect your health. The stress of the world can also cause health problems for you. How you choose to deal with it will determine how you and your health will be. Many people deal with their problems by eating. They eat, eat, eat and gain, gain, gain. This can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle which will just lead to other health problems like diabetes. Choosing to not deal with these issues will lead you down a long road of poor health, pain and suffering due to other self created health problems.

So, in conclusion, living a healthy lifestyle requires you to eat healthy, exercise, and love yourself. No one can do it for you. It is going to require dedication and hard work. But it will definitely be worth it when you see the outcome of your hard work. Don’t be afraid to go on this journey alone. Take God with you. He is the greatest support you will ever find that will stick with you to the end.

Anything is possible. Don’t let the things in this world distract you from getting where you need to be. Don’t try to make yourself fit into society. Let go of all those things in your life that you know is causing you to backslide on your journey to better health. Do it for you and not for anyone else. Don’t do it for someone to accept you. Do this for you because in the end that’s who matters the most, you and your health.

Bullying is one of the worst things a person can go through. When a person is being bullied, they are being harmed, intimidated and they are made to do something they are unwilling to do through force or threats. To constantly go through these situations alone with no help make these victims feel as if the only way to end this terrible cycle is to end their life.

There is so much bullying going on in the world today and still people do not take this thing seriously. Many are dying because they feel that it is the only way for them to escape such a horrible experience. They cannot find anyone who will step up and say this is wrong and actually do something to help them put an end to bullying. The ones that are doing the bullying know that people do not care enough to take a stand on this issue, so they feel it is okay to continue making these people lives miserable.

According to https://www.verywellfamily.com/types-of-bullying-parents-should-know-about-4153882 there are six known types of bullying. They are: Sexual Bullying, Prejudicial Bullying, Verbal Bullying, Relational Aggression, Physical Bullying, and Cyber Bullying.

Sexual bullying is when someone constantly harms a targeted person sexually. This includes sexual name calling, offensive gestures, and wrongful touching. It’s when someone is making a sexual suggestion to someone who is not sexually involved in an offensive way. Often times sexual bullying can lead to physical assault on the person being bullied.

Prejudicial Bullying. Prejudicial bullying is what prejudices younger teenagers have toward people of different races, religions, or sexual identity. This type of bullying can surround or cover every other type of bullying. When prejudicial bullying occurs, kids are targeting others who are different from them and singling them out.

Verbal Bullying is when bullies use name calling to make the person that’s being bullied feel like they are less than who they are. Words can be very hurtful when used the wrong way towards someone. It is like seeds that are being planted within that person. Once it is said it starts to take root and produce something that will eventually harm the person being bullied. Their looks are talked down upon, the way that person conducts themselves, etc. A bully will say anything about a person to make them feel less than who they are.

Verbal bullying is one type of bullying that is most often not taken as seriously as it should be taken. In the end, it causes just as much, if not more damage as any other type of bullying.

Relational Aggression refers to harm within relationships that is caused by covert bullying or manipulative behavior. Examples include isolating a youth from his or her group of friends (social exclusion), threatening to stop talking to a friend (the ”silent treatment”), or spreading gossip and rumors by e-mail www.nasponline.org.

Physical Bullying is a type of bullying where the person doing the bullying is stronger, bigger, and more likely to attack or confront the person being bullied. Physical bullying includes hitting, punching, slapping, etc. Any kind of physical attack on the person being bullied. Physical bullying is the most well known type of bullying because it occurs more often than any other type of bullying.

Cyber Bullying is a bully that uses technology to bully someone with very little risk of getting caught. This includes computer, telephone, the internet, etc.

Cyber bullies like to bully their victims secretly without being known. They can do it anytime, anyplace, and anywhere without getting noticed. As long as they have their technology they have everything they need to cause problems for their victims.

There are many more types of bullying but they all have one thing in common. They only exist to make people lives hard. They bully other people to make themselves feel as if they have the upper hand over someone. Bullying is something that can be stopped. And until we take the time to find the solution to this problem, victims of bullying will continue to feel that suicide is the only solution to end bullying.

Self-Improvement is something that is possible to do. But the first step towards making an improvement in your life is to always, always, always put God first and then find out what you feel needs improving. But God will also let you know what you can do to make changes for the better in your life because He knows us all better than we know ourselves. The word of God is the best place to start on the road to self-improvement. It has everything you need in any area of your life that you wish to improve on.

Beginning on the road to self-improvement is something that should not be done through other people’s opinions. It will eventually lead to regret and disappointment because you followed someone’s opinion rather than following your own heart on what you want to change about your own life. Go to the truth, which is the word of God. It can help you in any area of your life. Change what you can or what God is showing you and give what you can’t change to Him. God will either fix it Himself or show you exactly what you need to do to better handle that area of your life.

One scripture in the bible can be used to start fresh in your spiritual walk which will definitely lead you to self-improvement. 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This scripture alone gives you the right to start over fresh. Everything up to this point is forgiven and forgotten and you have the opportunity to start over and improve your life with God. You are now a born again christian. This time you can do it with God instead of without Him.

Other ways that can help are reading books. Reading spiritual books or listening to other men and women of God preach will help you to increase in wisdom.

Another way is to continually speak positivity into your life and into other people lives. Spending your time helping others, praying for others, or doing anything that can uplift someone else will help you to improve in areas of your own life.

Exercises, or yoga can help you to self-improve as well. It will free your mind and your spirit of things that are cluttering your mind. It will help you to focus better on what it is you need to do.

Another way is to overcome your fears or anxiety. Fear alone will hold you back from accomplishing so much in your life. Fear will give you every reason to quit or not to go after what your heart is telling you to go after. Fear is only false evidence appearing real. Fear is just a lie from satan to keep you where you are in your life. It does not want to see you happy and at peace. And the best way to tackle this is through the word of God.

So, in conclusion, we should always have God as our first place to go to for self-improvement. He is the only one who knows us better than we will ever know ourselves.
