Self-Improvement is something that is possible to do. But the first step towards making an improvement in your life is to always, always, always put God first and then find out what you feel needs improving. But God will also let you know what you can do to make changes for the better in your life because He knows us all better than we know ourselves. The word of God is the best place to start on the road to self-improvement. It has everything you need in any area of your life that you wish to improve on.

Beginning on the road to self-improvement is something that should not be done through other people’s opinions. It will eventually lead to regret and disappointment because you followed someone’s opinion rather than following your own heart on what you want to change about your own life. Go to the truth, which is the word of God. It can help you in any area of your life. Change what you can or what God is showing you and give what you can’t change to Him. God will either fix it Himself or show you exactly what you need to do to better handle that area of your life.

One scripture in the bible can be used to start fresh in your spiritual walk which will definitely lead you to self-improvement.:

2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

KJV

This scripture alone gives you the right to start over fresh. Everything up to this point is forgiven and forgotten and you have the opportunity to start over and improve your life with God. You are now a born again christian. This time you can do it with God instead of without Him.

Other ways that can help are reading books. Reading spiritual books or listening to other men and women of God preach will help you to increase in wisdom.

Another way is to continually speak positivity into your life and into other people lives. Spending your time helping others, praying for others, or doing anything that can uplift someone else will help you to improve in areas of your own life.

Exercises, or yoga can help you to self-improve as well. It will free your mind and your spirit of things that are cluttering your mind. It will help you to focus better on what it is you need to do.

Another way is to overcome your fears or anxiety. Fear alone will hold you back from accomplishing so much in your life. Fear will give you every reason to quit or not to go after what your heart is telling you to go after. Fear is only false evidence appearing real. Fear is just a lie from Satan to keep you where you are in your life. It does not want to see you happy and at peace. And the best way to tackle this is through the word of God.

So, in conclusion, we should always have God as our first place to go to for self-improvement. He is the only one who knows us better than we will ever know ourselves.

There are so many scriptures in the bible that relates to me. But the main one that really touches me and can relate to my life and the things that I have been through is Romans Chapter 8 verses 37-39. It explains how NOTHING can separate us from the love of God. NOTHING. And when I first read that I just knew in my heart that I had everything. And that no matter what happens in my life it would not separate me from my God and His love for me.

Facing so many obstacles in my life I needed to be reassured that God still loved me and that I still had Him by my side. To constantly feel that my sins was taking His love away from me was so heartbreaking, but God brought me to this scripture and it brought me so much peace.

Through faith in God and His word you will allow yourself to get to know God and His word on a more personal level. The word of God helps us to make better choices that will strengthen us along the path of life.

God’s word will teach us how to peacefully overcome the many obstacles that Satan puts in our path to try and get us to take our focus off of God and lose our way.

Satan does not want us to come to know and understand our true strength in the Lord. We should not ever try to live our lives apart from the word of God. If you do, you are giving Satan the opportunity to use you, to hurt you, and to pull you away from the love and guidance of God.

The first thing you need to do when it comes to the word of God is to first find a quiet place where you can be alone with God and His word. Take your time and just read the word of God and let the word of God minister to you. Let the Spirit of God speak to your heart. You will know when He speaks to you.

The next thing you need to do is pray to God. Let everything go and just give it all to Him. Nothing is too big for God. He can fix anything in your life that is broken. After you’ve given everything to God then you just sit and let the Lord speak to your heart. Anything He wants you to know you will receive it from Him. Don’t be in any hurry. Give God your time and let Him speak to you in the quiet.

No matter what you may go through in life you can go to the word of God for anything. It covers everything. It helps with relationships, health, finances, anger, love, forgiveness, keeping the peace of God with you, how to deal with people that do you wrong. How to live a life that is pleasing to God. The word of God is blessed instructions being lived everyday.

To have the love of God in your life means to have forgiveness in your heart for anyone who has wronged you in any way.

We face so much hurt and pain in life. And we have to always keep in mind that God will always give us the strength to forgive people for the hurtful things they do unto us.

Our strength and our life’s stories will be our testimony tot hose who are facing the same problems and they feel there is no hope and no more love and acceptance in the world to be offered to them.

But you are a witness to the fact that the love that they so desperately seek for is not in the world, but in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God cannot use us to glorify His kingdom when we choose to hold unforgiveness in our hearts against someone.

Unforgiveness causes mental and emotional stress. But forgiveness restores relationships. You have to be willing to take the first step in forgiving someone. And you can only do it through Christ Jesus.

It is important to forgive one another. To walk in unforgiveness will only hinder who you can truly be in Christ. Jesus. Unforgiveness is a demonic spirit. It gives the enemy full advantage of you.l He is given access to parts of your life he is off limits to. This is not the desire of God.

God cannot bless us when we are operating in unforgiveness. God is love, so when we are walking in unforgiveness, we are not walking in His love. Because of this, God cannot give us what we desire for Him to bless us with.

The bible tells us to forgive others. In Matthew 18: 21-22, it says: Then Peter came to Him and siad, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Being Prepared https://fightbyfaith.com/being-prepared/ https://fightbyfaith.com/being-prepared/#respond Fri, 31 Mar 2023 00:44:22 +0000 https://fightbyfaith.com/?p=501 Planning ahead helped me to stay ahead.

I remember when I was in high school, I struggled in my classes. I failed so many of my tests. It made me feel like a complete failure. I did my best and still failed. And being in school, I understand why. I didn’t take the time to plan.

Knowing I had decided to return to school, I was doing more planning than I had ever done. But, I realized that planning ahead helped me to stay ahead.

After struggling so much through high school, I had my mind set on not going back to college. Fear of failure kept me from going to college. But because of my love for writing, I decided to go back to college.

When I finished high school I decided to skip college and just focus on writing. I ended up getting one book published, The Perfect Gentleman, but my knowledge of the publishing world needed working on. I attended schools through the mail but they just didn’t work out. After really giving it some thought I decided that maybe I should reconsider going to college. But I had help with my decision. My son also played a role in my going back to school. I couldn’t make up my mind on whether I should go back to school or not. When he first started going to school, Corban asked me what I was going to be doing while he was at school. I said I didn’t know so he told me to go to school. It only confirmed what I couldn’t make my mind up on.

When I realized I was going to get a BA in English, I was really worried. In high school, English was one of my weakest subjects. But as I got in school, I felt that I was about to be strengthened in one of the main courses I wanted to strengthen. I felt I could definitely benefit from going to college by increasing my understanding on writing, promoting, and publishing my book. It was the main three areas of my writing that needed working on. And since being in college, I felt I had made some progress. I learned to take notes, study, and give reasonable time to learning new things which helped me to generate ideas.

I had to have changes made in my lifestyle in order for me to pursue my degree. So much of my life was given to helping and doing for other people. I had to let go of a lot of things that was unnecessarily taking so much of my time. Now that I was in school, I had to finally give myself some me time.

There was a lot of obstacles in my life that was trying to prevent me from doing my best in college. My health, my family, so many doctor’s appointments. Trying to keep up with everything was hard along with keeping up with school work. But like I’ve learned in Ashford’s classes it was good to write out a schedule to follow. I did that and it made things a whole lot easier to handle.

I don’t regret the decision I made of going back to school. It helped me in so many ways. And I finally felt I was doing something that was worth my time.

Life as a published author can sometimes be a challenge. Every writer should know as much as possible about the publishing world., it lets people know where you stand as a writer, it prevents someone from claiming your work, and it lets publishers, agents, and other writers know that you’re not walking in with your eyes closed. Putting more time into studying, planning, learning new things, generating ideas, and being willing to accept feedback or advice can also help in the long run. It will add to what you already know.

People respect you more when you know what you’re doing. I learned from experience that you should never just rush into anything. It will not help you if you do not know anything about what you are trying to make a goal or career at.

Bullying is one of the worst things a person can go through. When a person is being bullied, they are being harmed, intimidated and they are made to do something they are unwilling to do through force or threats. To constantly go through these situations alone with no help make these victims feel as if the only way to end this terrible cycle is to end their life.

There is so much bullying going on in the world today and still people do not take this thing seriously. Many are dying because they feel that it is the only way for them to escape such a horrible experience. They cannot find anyone who will step up and say this is wrong and actually do something to help them put an end to bullying. The ones that are doing the bullying know that people do not care enough to take a stand on this issue, so they feel it is okay to continue making these people lives miserable.

According to https://www.verywellfamily.com/types-of-bullying-parents-should-know-about-4153882 there are six known types of bullying. They are: Sexual Bullying, Prejudicial Bullying, Verbal Bullying, Relational Aggression, Physical Bullying, and Cyber Bullying.

Sexual bullying is when someone constantly harms a targeted person sexually. This includes sexual name calling, offensive gestures, and wrongful touching. It’s when someone is making a sexual suggestion to someone who is not sexually involved in an offensive way. Often times sexual bullying can lead to physical assault on the person being bullied.

Prejudicial Bullying. Prejudicial bullying is what prejudices younger teenagers have toward people of different races, religions, or sexual identity. This type of bullying can surround or cover every other type of bullying. When prejudicial bullying occurs, kids are targeting others who are different from them and singling them out.

Verbal Bullying is when bullies use name calling to make the person that’s being bullied feel like they are less than who they are. Words can be very hurtful when used the wrong way towards someone. It is like seeds that are being planted within that person. Once it is said it starts to take root and produce something that will eventually harm the person being bullied. Their looks are talked down upon, the way that person conducts themselves, etc. A bully will say anything about a person to make them feel less than who they are.

Verbal bullying is one type of bullying that is most often not taken as seriously as it should be taken. In the end, it causes just as much, if not more damage as any other type of bullying.

Relational Aggression refers to harm within relationships that is caused by covert bullying or manipulative behavior. Examples include isolating a youth from his or her group of friends (social exclusion), threatening to stop talking to a friend (the ”silent treatment”), or spreading gossip and rumors by e-mail www.nasponline.org.

Physical Bullying is a type of bullying where the person doing the bullying is stronger, bigger, and more likely to attack or confront the person being bullied. Physical bullying includes hitting, punching, slapping, etc. Any kind of physical attack on the person being bullied. Physical bullying is the most well known type of bullying because it occurs more often than any other type of bullying.

Cyber Bullying is a bully that uses technology to bully someone with very little risk of getting caught. This includes computer, telephone, the internet, etc.

Cyber bullies like to bully their victims secretly without being known. They can do it anytime, anyplace, and anywhere without getting noticed. As long as they have their technology they have everything they need to cause problems for their victims.

There are many more types of bullying but they all have one thing in common. They only exist to make people lives hard. They bully other people to make themselves feel as if they have the upper hand over someone. Bullying is something that can be stopped. And until we take the time to find the solution to this problem, victims of bullying will continue to feel that suicide is the only solution to end bullying.
